Legendary rock group Queen has refused to play at the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla on the grounds of bad taste.

An EMI spokesperson indicated that the Prince had asked the band to play at the wedding reception at Buckingham Palace.

Queen refused because Camilla insisted that the band dig up the remains of Freddy Mercury and prop the dead lead singer up at the wedding, Weekend at Bernie’s style.

“I want the original Queen line-up,” a defensive Camilla said.

A newspoll conducted by The Times has revealed that even if the decomposing, worm riddled corpse of the prancing singer was to attend the wedding, the public consider Camilla would still be the ugliest person in the room.

The palace will not confirm the rumours that Queen Latifah, the Artist Formerly Known as Prince and Jerry “The King” Lawler have also snubbed the wedding invitation.
