Tarantino, Jackson reunite for Bond film
United Pictures has announced Quentin Tarantino will direct the 21st James Bond film. In another major coup, Samuel L. Jackson has been signed on to play super spy James Bond 007.
The general manager of United Pictures, Chris Tait, said that he hoped some fresh blood would rekindle the Bond franchise and update the dashing secret agent for today’s audiences.
Tarantino has already expressed great excitement about his role in the future of James Bond. During the filming of his current World War II action movie, Dirty Bastards, Tarantino said he had a hip new vision for Bond.
“I’m so f—ing excited,” exclaimed Tarantino. “I get to make a f—ing James Bond movie, motherf—er!”
In an exclusive to The Daily Ripper, Tarantino has revealed the title of the new Bond flick: Casino Quarter Pounder.
“And guess what? In Europe it will be f—ing called Casino Royale ’cause those motherf—ers have got the metric system and wouldn’t know what a f—ing ‘Quarter Pounder’ was,” Tarantino said.
Tarantino would not comment on the rumour that John Travolta would be playing the villian ‘Pulp Finger’ nor that Dame Judi Dench had been given her marching orders as ‘M’ to be replaced by Pam Grier.
“All I’ll say motherf—ers is that there’s a good chance that Uma f—ing Thurman will be a Bond girl called ‘Ivana Lotta Pussyman’,” said the excitable director.
During reshoots for Star Wars Episode III, Samuel L. Jackson told the Australian press that he was honoured to be the first black man to play the English hero.
And when asked to give his take of the famous Bond catchphrase, Jackson responded: “The name’s Bond. James ‘Motherf—ing’ Bond, nigger. We cool?”
Casino Quarter Pounder should hit movie theatres in January 2006.
